Our story

We started VastraCore because good everyday clothing had quietly become disposable — bought by the dozen, worn a handful of times, discarded.

We wanted the opposite: fewer, better pieces, made in India, finished by hand, and built to last — for men and for children aged 1–10, the kind a younger sibling can wear next.

Craftsmanship

Every garment is cut and finished by a small team, with embroidery and DTF prints applied in-house so we control the quality end to end.

Each pattern starts on paper — drawn lines, measured proportions, intentional silhouettes, never algorithmically composed. Every piece then passes through the hands of independent ateliers we know by name: cut, stitched and pressed locally.

Natural fibres, double-stitched seams, reinforced points of stress. Built to outlast the season, and the next one too.

How we hold the standard

The claims on our home page are not adjectives. Each one is a number we hold our production to, and these are the numbers.

• Fabric 230 GSM combed cotton, pre-shrunk before cutting
• Colour matched to Delta-E < 1.5, so a re-order matches the first one
• Inspection AQL-2.5 sampling, under a 2% defect rate, on every batch
• Labels heat-transferred inside the neck, never a sewn-in tag
• Wear shape guaranteed for 30 washes

You can buy two ways: ready-to-wear from stock, or made-to-order custom-fit — tailored to your measurements and produced just for you.

Choose a piece, send your measurements, and we will draft the pattern, cut the fabric and finish the garment over the next 14 days.
